The 15-minute deep tour

The complete walkthrough of RePricer.

Every screen, every rule type, every marketplace. From connecting Amazon / Walmart / eBay to defining your floor, ceiling, and MAP, to watching the audit log light up every time a competitor moves — end to end. Grab a coffee.

Step 1 · The Overview

Your whole business on one screen.

Open RePricer and the first thing you see is four big tiles that summarize how the business is doing: Buy Box win rate (rolling 7d), Active SKUs being repriced, Reprices in the last 24h, and Margin protected this week. Below them: 14-day Buy Box trend by marketplace, recent price changes, cron + API health, and onboarding progress.

  • Every tile is clickable for the methodology behind the number — no black-box stats
  • Hide modules you don't use from Settings → Available Features — the page rebuilds without them
  • “Sample Data View” button up top fills the page with example data so you can see what it looks like before you have your own

Step 2 · Connect your marketplaces

Three marketplaces. Native APIs. One console.

From /marketplaces.cgi you connect each seller account once with the official marketplace API. OAuth for Amazon and eBay; signed RSA + Client ID for Walmart. We never store your marketplace login — only the API tokens you delegate to us. From that point on, every offer is polled on a cycle you control, and every price change goes back through the same API.

Amazon

Walmart

eB
eBay

Sell APIOAuth

Connection methods: OAuth for Amazon and eBay; Walmart uses Client ID + signed RSA requests. We never see or store the buyer's payment details — that stays on the marketplace and your payouts land directly in your seller-account bank, not through RePricer.

Step 3 · The rule builder

Eight strategies. Pick one per SKU, or one for the whole account.

Rules are the heart of RePricer. Set one at the account level as a default; override per SKU when you need something specific. Priorities break ties when multiple rules could fire. Every rule respects floor, ceiling, and MAP before the API call ever happens.

Beat the lowest

Undercut the cheapest qualified competitor by your delta (e.g. $0.01 or 1%). Floor stops it cold.

Match the Buy Box

Hold even with the current Buy Box winner. Useful when you're already winning and just defending position.

Beat the Buy Box

Take the box back: shave by a configurable delta. Pairs with cooldown windows so you don't ping-pong.

Target a search position

"Be the 3rd-cheapest qualified offer." Lets you preserve margin while staying visible.

Cost + markup

Cost-plus formula with a fixed or percentage markup. Floor-friendly: if cost moves, price moves.

Fixed

Pin a SKU at a price. Useful when you're winning on something else (free shipping, brand) and don't want bots fiddling.

Bayesian competitor score

Weight competitors by historical reliability before reacting to their price moves. Ignores the lowballer that vanishes on every restock.

Velocity-aware

Adjust price based on sell-through. Slowing down? Drop within floor. Selling fast? Lift toward ceiling.

Step 4 · Floors, ceilings, and MAP

Hard limits. Enforced before the API call.

Every SKU has a floor (default: your cost), a ceiling, and an optional MAP (Minimum Advertised Price). The engine checks all three before the marketplace API request is composed. If a rule would breach a guardrail, the engine clamps to the guardrail instead and logs why. Your price will never drop below floor — even if it means losing the Buy Box to a lowballer.

  • Floors importable from CSV, editable inline, or auto-computed as cost × 1.10 on bulk apply
  • Ceiling prevents accidental "race to the top" if a stale competitor's outlier price pulls the rule the wrong way
  • MAP rules can be brand-locked — bulk-apply per ASIN-prefix or supplier tag
  • Per-SKU cooldown windows (default 15 min) prevent thrash and rate-limit suspension

Step 5 · Competitor intelligence

See every offer. Ignore the bad ones.

For each connected SKU we pull the full competitor stack — price, shipping, fulfilment type (FBA / FBM), seller rating, and feedback count — on a schedule you set. Filters let you exclude unreliable sellers (low feedback, low review count, suspicious-velocity drops) so a one-time lowballer can't drag your price down for everyone else.

  • Filters: minimum feedback %, minimum feedback count, FBA-only, condition match
  • Buy Box ownership tracked over time — chart who held it, when, and for how long
  • 90-day rolling snapshot history for every poll, exportable as CSV
  • Per-marketplace poll cadence: 1 min on Scale, 5 min on Business, 15 min on Pro
Step 6 · Audit log

Every change — who, what, why, when.

Every single price change is logged with the old price, the new price, the rule that fired, the competitor data that triggered it, the marketplace API response, and the operator (rule engine or human override). Search by SKU, marketplace, rule name, or date. CSV-exportable for your accountant.

  • Per-change provenance: rule, competitor snapshot ID, raw API response code
  • Filter by status: synced, pending, failed, throttled, suppressed (cooldown / floor)
  • Human overrides are flagged separately and require a reason field
  • Retained for the life of the account — not aged out at 90 days

Step 7 · Alerts & notifications

Hear about it the moment it matters.

Email, in-app, or webhook alerts the second something important happens: Buy Box lost, floor hit, MAP violation by a competitor, marketplace API error, rate-limit warning. Configure thresholds — only ping me if I lose the box on a SKU doing >$500/wk, etc.

  • Channels: email, in-app, Slack webhook, custom webhook
  • Per-SKU thresholds so high-volume SKUs alert and the long tail doesn't spam you
  • Daily digest: yesterday's Buy Box gains/losses, floor hits, margin protected
  • Mute windows so weekend on-call doesn't get paged at 3am
Step 8 · Cross-marketplace analytics

Three marketplaces, one view.

Unified Buy Box win rate, reprice frequency, average margin, and competitor pressure index across Amazon, Walmart, and eBay. Side-by-side per-SKU charts so you can see where you're winning, where you're losing, and where a SKU is bleeding margin on one marketplace while doing fine on another.

  • Buy Box win-rate trend, 7d / 30d / 90d rolling, per marketplace
  • Margin protected: dollars you didn't lose because a guardrail held
  • Competitor pressure index: how aggressive your market is, week over week
  • Tax-ready CSV exports per marketplace, per period — accountant-friendly

Step 9 · Billing

SaaS subscription. Nothing else.

You pay RePricer a monthly subscription fee. That's it. RePricer never touches buyer money — your Amazon, Walmart, and eBay payouts land directly in your seller-account bank, exactly the way they do today. We're a tool you point at your marketplaces; we're not in the payment path.

  • Three plans: Pro, Business, Scale — pick based on poll frequency + alert features
  • 14-day free trial on every plan — no credit card up front
  • Monthly billing · no annual contracts · cancel from Settings any time
  • Unlimited SKUs on every paid plan — we don't cap the long tail
Step 10 · The platform underneath

The plumbing you don't think about — until you need it.

The plumbing that keeps the repricer firing on schedule, your API tokens encrypted, and your account safe from rate-limit suspension.

Global search

Topbar search hits SKUs, rules, audit-log entries, marketplaces, and settings. Tokenized + punctuation-agnostic — earbuds-p2 finds EARBUDS-P2-BLK.

Sample Data View & Help

Every main page has a "Sample Data View" button so you see what charts look like before you have your own. Help icon up top opens a curated "where do I do that" guide.

2FA, audit log, sessions

TOTP-based 2FA, full audit log on every admin action, list-and-revoke active sessions from Settings. Role-based access on team accounts.

Encrypted token storage

Marketplace API tokens are encrypted at rest with per-account keys. We don't store your marketplace login — only the OAuth refresh tokens you delegate to us. Revocable any time.

Status page + system health

Live uptime per subsystem on the Overview dashboard. Public status page at status.repricer.com. Scale plan includes a 99.95% SLA with service credits.

Rate-limit shield

We respect every marketplace's API rate limit. If your usage spikes past your plan's documented frequency we queue and throttle rather than risk a seller-account suspension.

Job queue + background workers

Poll cycles, price-push calls, alert delivery, and CSV exports all run on a Minion-style job queue with retries and dead-letter inspection.

Bulk operations

Bulk-import SKUs from CSV, bulk-apply rules across a category, bulk-update floors. Operations run in the background and report success / failure per row.

You've seen the whole tour

Now run it on your own SKUs.

14-day free trial on every plan. No credit card required. Connect your first marketplace in 60 seconds — we'll seed a sample SKU and rule so you can watch the engine work before pointing it at live listings.
